"The hotel was conveniently located near the Surabaya Airport and Immigration office, but it only provided a shuttle from and to the airport despite the immigration office being close. "Nice place but too many irritating distractions: 1. Breakfast was a disappointment. I tried to get breakfast included. Couldn’t do it! Emailed hotel and Expedia, no response. Ended up paying 2 x the price next morning because I did not make the appropriate booking 2. Cable tv was a problem. Promised tekkie did not make it to our room. We just put up with it. 3. Could not buy a cup of coffee without also buying breakfast. 4. Not the same Ascott as I am used to in Jakarta. "

"I stayed one night at this hotel to rest after a long journey from Melbourne to Denpasar, and then on to Surabaya. The staff were friendly and the food was average. However, I was disappointed to find that my room and bathroom were quite dusty. I hope the management can take this feedback into consideration and improve the cleanliness of the rooms. With better attention to this area, I would consider staying again in the future."
