"We never got to stay in the apartment because we couldn't safely get to it. We were informed on the Expedia page that it would be a first-floor apartment. This was not true. The apartment was on the fourth floor (which is fifth floor in the US). The stairs were dangerous and unsafe. "I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host.
