A typical train station hotel?

The negatives are many: no safe in room, fake flowers in room, only one pillow, horrendous red and yellow decor reflecting the facade. noisy street even after midnight, worn out stair carpet, old carpet in the room, was that a TV? toilet/shower room for those under 75 kg only, cramped conditions with table and armchairs blocking much of the room's space. I was delighted to be leaving at 5am, and I had not been so tired from the day's travel I would have booked another hotel and would have been content to forfeit the €75 price for one night.

Great little hotel.
Posted 24 Sep 2017 on HotelsTravelling by train, hotel across the road from station.Very pleasant hotel, no lifts and plenty of stairs but we knew this when booking. We are in a very large hotel at the moment and I must say miss the comfort and personnel attention of this small hotel in Schwerin. Would stay again.

Despite the hotel confirmation stating that breakfast is compliment, the hotel staff demanded 8 EUR per person for the breakfast when we checked in the hotel. The staff totally ignored the confirmation letter statement and rude. We felt that we have been cheated by their website.

it was very comfortable but the room size was quite small and there was no lift so we had to walk all the way to the top floor. But the wifi connection was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very convenient location close to the rail station

Pros: Comfortable bed and nice room. Good value.
Cons: Lobby is very minimalist but not an issue for me.
Location: Just across the square from the main rail station. Attractive town with the famous neo-renaissance Schloss (castle) and park grounds nearby.
Great location, easy walk to the town center and the Schloss. Picturesque town with many lakes and parks.

Decent, but not great
Posted 14 Jul 2012 on HotelsVery convenient to train station and quiet, and a short walk to the old city. Room was uncomfortably small, not even a place to put a suitcase on the floor. It felt like a jail cell. Reception staff very pleasant and really tried to be helpful, though no English spoken here. At times reception was locked (as when I arrived), so was unable to check in for about a half hour. There is a bell to ring on the outside, but it didn't seem to produce anyone.
