Property amenities are dated. Bed is sunken to one side and mattress is depressed making for an uncomfortable sleep. We were charge a bottle of wine which we did not consume but hotel informed that they will reverse the charge. No free parking but guest had to pay $25 for a day parking so we paid $75 for three nights stay. Reception was not helpful when we ask for affordable parking as we were told that there were free parking at the front of the property subjected to availability when we made the booking. Tgis was one of the consideration for making a booking.

What a pity they have no furniture on their balconies, no cutlery in-room and a lovely looking swimming area completely closed - even though I saw no work being done all week.

Naturally, I was disappointed to learn of your experience during your recent stay at Rendezvous Scarborough, which does not meet the exceptional standards we aspire to. The issues you have mentioned certainly do not meet the high standards we are renowned for and I have shared this feedback with our wider team. We understand the disappointment many guests have felt at the removal of our balcony furniture, however this was done off the back of a safety audit, which raised concerns about the security of the furniture in the presence of the 70km/h winds coming off the ocean. The hotel is in the process of sourcing alternative balcony furniture, however we have yet to confirm an installation date.We look forward to an opportunity to welcome you back for a more enjoyable stay in the future. Great location - I would recommend the ocean view rooms. The function room was great, with ocean views also. There was a good choice for breakfast, but I would have liked to have had the breakfast included in the room rate. The review would have been excellent but having to pay $25 for parking at the hotel when you are there for a wedding, overnight stay, and breakfast is a bit steep. It should have been an inclusion as part of the package. Other than that, it was a beautiful place to stay with the beach right at your doorstep.

Large beautiful room, big tv, great view, clean, close to beach and eateries, big pool & spa. Little bit noisy and unfortunately the spa didn't work but the water was warm.
