The staff was wonderful. The rooms are modern and up to date. Parking is a challenge though.

Perfect Location
Posted 17 Jan 2024 on HotelsThis hotel is well situated in the heart of Sarlat. The market is literally a 2 minute walk with plenty of dining options along the way. There’s public parking in front of the hotel but it can be tough to find a spot - you’d have to go around a few times until a space frees up. The staff especially Celine from the front desk is super helpful and polite. We arrived a little early before their standard check in time and she worked with the cleaning staff to try to get our room ready asap. I really appreciate her for doing that. We will stay in this hotel again. It’s really in a perfect location if you want to be closer to the market. Oh yes the room was clean and well updated. You can tell they did a lot work to ensure guest comfort. There’s an elevator as well and continental breakfast is available for 11 euros.

We found this hotel to be quiet and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. Our room was small, but comfortable and cozy. The beds were comfortable. We would stay here again if in the area. We did not have trouble parking in the lot by the hotel, although we were there in the off season.

Convenient for Sarlat centre but parking off site.
Posted 13 Aug 2023 on HotelsWell placed to visit Sarlat. Externally attractive, but our room was very small on the third floor (with lift out of order!). Only widow was high up and very small, overlooking a building site!
Parking, which I confirmed before arriving was off-site & difficult to find (heavy traffic & one way system). My wife (65yrs) carried our bags up 3 flights (while I parked the car)! The receptionist (young male) sat behind his desk.
Breakfast was plentiful & good quality (self service)

The best asset of this hotel is its location in Sarlat, within just a minute or the to the historic city center. Everything else was just OK. The room was a bit old and pokey. The front desk staff was not very friendly, the breakfast was sub-average, and the elevator was not working (we were on the 3rd floor, equivalent to 4th floor in US). Granted, the staff helped us with our luggage, and they waved the breakfast fee. But all in all, it was not a memorable stay.
