Avoid this Hotel!!!

had a two-night reservation for October 2023, and it turned out to be quite a disappointment. The room was incredibly noisy due to ongoing construction work, making it extremely challenging for my one-year-old to sleep. Additionally, there were no amenities such as a bathtub or a crib for my child. The exposed power switch in the room and the elevator not aligning with the ground floor almost led to an accident while carrying my baby. Despite my request, the hotel staff refused to change our room. Surprisingly, I wasn't the only one with complaints that day. I attempted to contact Hotels.com three times, but they were unable to reach the hotel's reception and couldn't secure a refund. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Newly refurbished hotel with lovely views out to sea. Some of the staff were friendly and very helpful, some slightly blunt and borderline rude. Food in the hotel was good, and the bar down on the beach good too. Beach area was very crowded with sun loungers packed in to the max (but this is pretty common across Sarande). If you are looking for a chilled out beach attached to your hotel, this is probably not it. If you want something a bit more lively with lots of people around the this might be more your scene.

Fantastic staff and rooms for a week long stay. Great beach. Walking distance to main promenade. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

So many things to improve

We just came back from our 6-night stay in Hotel Apollon and to sum everything up, this hotel puzzled us in many ways - both positively and negatively. Good things: - Quiet location. Has a stunning small beach near. - Guys and a girl working at the bar in the beach were all lovely and approachable. These are the kind of people you need in your hotel - honest and hardworking. - Breakfast was repetitive, but decent in general. Bad things: - They initially gave us a room that meant we were next to the noisy lift and that our balcony was facing a restaurant. We said no and they happily changed our room without any issues. - Room was subpar in so many ways - first, the shower was designed so badly that whenever you take a shower, the entire bathroom gets wet. Not well-designed. You need lots of towel to soak the water out in the floor. - The air-conditioning in the room was bad. On a random second, the temperature changes from 16 degrees to 25 degrees without you changing it and you just feel the room getting warm. On so many occasions, we’d wake up sweating. Just bad nights. - We requested spare pillows but said hotel has ran out. Funny. - We had a dinner one night and when we were about to pay, they said cash only as their machine is broken. My partner insisted that all day we have been paying by card and that we don’t have any cash left. And you know what happened next - card machine suddenly started to work. Miraculously.
