The bar was a great place to relax after a 4 1/2 hour road trip. Shower was great! Just miss not having coffee in my room. I understand it would be difficult to fit it into the room. Breakfast in the restaurant was a treat especially before the Timber Sport Competition at Paul Smith College.

My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was how the bathroom was laid out. You have to get into the shower to turn it on, and outside of the shower the towel bar is placed higher than most I have encountered. Also I am not a fan of bowl sinks. However - the rest of the room was very nicely planned , and very clean. I had not been in years, and it was nice to see the property restored so well. I would definitely come back. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Lovely hotel with 20s vibe. Noisy from the sevi d floor bar though. Otherwise great stay

Very nice and comfortable stay for a short trip to see the total eclipse. Clean, nice and easily located. The only issue with the room was the water temperature it was lukewarm. But otherwise very comfortable. The hotel restaurant was good. The hostess at the restaurant (I believe her name was Erica) was VERY nice and helpful in getting us a table in what was obviously a very busy time. I’d definitely recommend this to those staying in Saranac Lake.

Heat didn’t work in my room, so their solution was to put me (with my newborn) in a much smaller room with no price adjustment.
