No English spoken here
Posted 21 Nov 2023 on HotelsGreat location for Expo Norte Convention Center, but that’s about it. Hotel staff is incompetent at best and frankly don’t give a shit any way. I called the hotel as I was the wake-up call for my son who was there competing in a tournament. The person who answered did not speak English and had no interest in trying to help. I tried messaging and Google translating to no avail. I tried to relay the fact that it was an emergency to get a call through to the room and was put on hold. I was then disconnected and no one picked up the phone for the next hour. I understand completely that English is not the native language, but the people that work here should at the very least be able to communicate.

Staff are friendly, respectful and courteous. Breakfast and dining options are excellent. The location is very good, near a big shopping centre, bakeries, restaurants, transportation, not far from the airport despite being in the city.
