The building needs a lot of updates. Some dirty spots in the room and toilet ,but ok .not big deal . Whatever when I arrived at night my room looks was dark, because the 2 main lights were burned out, I called the reception, I was told that there was no maintenance, only the next day! unbelievable, I couldn't work, I decided not to stay at the hotel.

Standard ibis. Decent room. A little dated. Needs upgrade on bathrooms and hallway smell. Other than that it was good.

Unfriendly people at reception, both at check-in as well as check-out. Very basic hotel lobby and services.

Great place to stay in Sao Luis
