Could be great but isn't

Large room spoilt by many problems. 4 of 5 lights not working. Air con not working, safe not working. Very noisy with regular loud bang every 20 minutes throught the night. Had to change room at 1am to get some sleep. Could be a great place but isn't. Cleanliness not good bearing in mind covid issue.

This is a very good hotel, I did not go to the pool or sauna area. My biggest concerns were the front desk area does not carry any snacks or drinks it all has to go through the company that manages the restaurant and my concern there was I just could not pick up something in the restaurant from the breakfast I paid for and eat it in my room you had to request and have it delivered. Also, I’m a really particular person about people entering my room without me knowing about it housekeeping did this and there was nothing to put on the door to provide any different type of notification normally housekeeping will knock and if there is no indication that you want service to your room they will leave a note saying they attempted to provide service but no one responded but they do not enter without authorization. I would stay at this hotel again because it has a great location and members of the reception staff speak English but with strict directions that if I need something from housekeeping I will ask for it.
