As good as last time but at twice the price
Posted 11 Nov 2021 on Hotels400 year-old monastery surrounded by steep sided vineyards and breathtaking views. The hotel has a great spa and two restaurants one of which has a Michelin star. the food was very good and the wine list extensive.we very much enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of grumbles. I stayed at this hotel on November 2019 and the accommodation prices have DOUBLED since! Clearly trying to make up for the losses during lockdown. Be prepared to pay high prices for a very small room with no tub.

Property was fantastic, the suite was large, minders and clean. The food at the bistro was incredible, if given the option I'd recommend eating there as opposed to its fancier Guido option. The pool area was disappointing but the Spa made up for it (try the salt
