This hotel looks nothing from the outside but the rooms are round a central courtyard, either in the main building or across the road in the annex. I think the annex is nicer with lots of places to sit outside in a tranquil oasis. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly even though they did not speak English. There is parking next to the hotel. Breakfast is a basic and typically Turkish served in the main building. The hotel serves beer but not wine. Location is very good for the main sights and the hotel can recommend places to eat.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Staff was very friendly, the building is beautiful, and the breakfast was great. Also parking was super easy and convenient. Would absolutely stay again.

The staff is very kind. Parking lot is beside the hotel and convenient. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The breakfast is traditional and excellent.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Urfa

Full of atmosphere and we rate it a 10!
Posted 14 Oct 2023 on HotelsThis is one of our favorite hotels in Turkey! The room was large and had lots of atmosphere. It was a monastery formerly. We asked to have breakfast brought down 3 floors to the outside patio. No problem! Great service. Very nicely served and delicious. Our guide from the hotel to the archeological site was very good. Just a note that the guide was $17 US per person and the entry fee for foreigners was the same. So it was a $34 US each venture. Very worth it! The site is so well done and amazing.

Unique ness of the room, spacious. Walking distance to the balikgol park and fish pond and other historic sites. Many restaurants and shops around the hotel. Breakfast was good, an omelette, different types of jams and cheeses, tomatoes and cucumbers. Negatives were wifi is weak in the room, there was loud music all night from neighbors. And most irritating for me I feel like I was ripped off for the main historical Gobeklitepe tour offered at the hotel. It was a 15 minute drive and basically a closed museum and open air excavation site, everything was self explanatory, no need for a guide honestly . Transportation plus guide I was charged $150 dollars excluding the entrance fee which was 480 Lira. The whole tour took 2.5 hours total. Not happy about that. I had requested a taxi transfer to take us to the airport but he never showed up on time so the concierge kindly offered their ride and that was a nice gesture however the driver didn’t know the way, traffic was terrible, petrol light was on, so in the middle of all this we stopped to put petrol. Needless to say we almost missed our flight!
