Wonderful stay just outside Bastia
Posted 19 Aug 2019 on HotelsNice clean hotel, pool and terrace very small but sufficient for size of hotel. Location was around a 30/40 minute walk from the town centre, this is made more difficult due to only 2 taxis serving the area.
Lunch was very nice however breakfast very basic and on all days bread/pastries were stale and milk was out of date, definitely not worth the charge.
Rooms were clean and looked recently furnished, great addition was the balcony overlooking the sea. The only down side to the rooms were the beds. The mattresses were hard and springy and some of the slats holding the mattress were broken causing the beds to dip.
Overall a nice little hotel with very pleasant staff. The location is great but only if you have a car. Would I return? Yes, definitely. However Bastia council really need to sort out the taxi situation.

A Mixed Bag for View Fanatics...
Posted 28 Jul 2018 on HotelsNice enough room directly across from sea, view marred by ugly gas station in front. No lift so beware!! And no frig in room but ice from bar downstairs. Ate in hotel 1st night: meal so horrible couldn't eat it but no one cared - didn't ask or comment when I said something; charged full price with no offer of a different entre or dessert, etc. Returned 2nd night to find bed entirely covered with some black insects - awful!! Again, no interest when we told them on check out the next morning. Everyone had spoken English when we arrived but suddenly no one spoke a single word... Convenient to little town and a good price but not sure we would stay there again.

Great hotel for the price in Bastia
Posted 25 Jul 2018 on HotelsGreat hotel with view of the water and a small patio.The breakfast was not included, but was well worth the 10 Euro for each of us.Huge bathroom!

L'établissement est bien entretenu. Bon rapport qualité prix. Le chef qui officie en cuisine est excellent. Les goûts et les idées sont là. Il faut par contre modérer les quantités et faire des tranches plus fines. Bravo ! Le service est très bon et met à l'aise.
