Nice motel-like property not far from the SLO downtown. 15-20 min walk to restaurants. The room, furniture, linens were clean and looked new.

refrigerator in the room made a lot of noise, woke me up several times

Avenue Inn is clean, neat, well managed. However, it is a no-frills motel, with zero amenities.

Really good location but the rooms are pretty small and the bathroom and especially the shower are very, very tiny.

The family Staff was so accomadating. I missed my train however, and they still charged me for (1) night stay, even though it wasn't my fault [AMTRAK}
