The place was amazing, the villa was beautiful, the colors very original and the grounds were so well maintained, the restaurant view was spectacular and the staff very helpful and nice. We had a wonderful experience!

We had a great honeymoon at Xandari! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking, and really easy to maneuver around. We wish we would've taken advantage of the spa during our stay, hut we didn't have time. Only issues we had were that our power went out a couple times when it rained and one night we had to wait till the next day for it to come back on. Other than that, everything was beautiful and an exciting way to experience Costa Rica for the first time!

Hi Luiggi, we love knowing that we manage a romantic honeymoon experience at Xandari!Thanks to our geographical location and the elevation of the hotel, we offer the best romantic sunset that you can enjoy directly on your private balcony in the villa or by the pool.We regret the incident with the light, and we remember, it was something that happened outside the hotel on the road with a light pole, we couldn't do anything in those couple of hours. It was something unusual.Too bad we couldn't pamper them at the spa.We hope to see you soon to serve you again.

Luis and Maurice were very professional and helpful during our stay. Luis helped us with arranging activities and transportation. Maurice served us during breakfast and dinner and a lady who was always smiling and gracious. The ladies who cleaned our rooms provided towels and toiletries when needed. The spa service was excellent! When it rained hard, water did enter through the front door. So I am sure it needs to be sealed. Overall, the stay was refreshing and the scenery and grounds are beautiful.

Costa Rica is an oxymoron very beautiful but now so expensive dinner at this hotel over $134 with no alcoholic beverages. Stopped in at Denny’s Denny’s breakfast for one person was $44 a burger and one cola $36.
This country is gonna price itself right out of the tourism business and it’s extremely difficult to get around especially to that hotel. You would not believe the route to get to it. I am shocked. I didn’t get mugged or worse.

It is very important for us.I would like to clarify to our readers, the dishes at Xandari are not worth more than 134, we do not have that amount even with taxes included.In your case, keep in mind that this amount is the total of your requests for your entire stay at the hotel, including lunch and dinner (breakfast is included in the reservation price). This amount also includes requests for alcoholic drinks.We take this opportunity to comment that Xandari is located just 10 minutes from the city center and 25 minutes from the airport.The time of the city center is very short. Most of the houses near Xandari are owned by families who have lived in the area for many years.We have all the necessary security systems for a pleasant stay.Now security outside of Xandari, in the city, is not part of our business.Best regards from Costa Rica !

Note that flight paths go over the hotel. About five times a day but the important thing being that two of these are at six in the morning which means you're unlikely to sleep later if you're a light sleeper!
The property has a nice trek locally. Waterfall five is the only one worth visiting though! The ping pong table was out of action while we were there which was disappointing.
We were able to book a volcano tour via the hotel. The driver Luis was great and very friendly. He gave us plenty of information which made us enjoy the tour even more!
Restaurant food was good. Good variety but would have been good to have more options locally or cheaper travel to/from town.

At the same time, we may have some flights, but we are not sure they are as punctual as mentioned.Xandari guarantees every minute of your vacation counts, you don't waste time since you are close to the airport and at the same time you enjoy a reserve of more than 16 hectares of forest that represents the biodiversity of Costa Rica!Thank you very much for staying with us, "pure vida " from Costa Rica!

Everything on the property was excellent.The staff was great.The service was great. Could use a separate option for restaurant and better Transportation to and from the airport
