Old and ugly clean with good service and amenities

This old place is perfect for individuals looking for a safe, clean room at very economical prices. The rooms are really small but they all have AC and with the small room, the AC really works well. The speed of the Wi-Fi is a steady 200 megabits. Streaming and downloading is very fast and easy. Best I have seen at any motel in San Jose. Even many big expensive motels have only 10-15 megabit Wi-Fi. The motel is fairly close to downtown. It has a bar, frequented by local “comfort girls’. It’s a great place to stay for a few days and now feel ripped off.

The people that work there are friendly and great. Most of the girls that work at the bar speak English, however not everyone in the office speaks English. One of them even made me coffee Sunday morning before the kitchen staff comes in at 11:00 AM. Now for the ugly. The rooms are in desperate need of maintenance. The worst condition was black mold growing and protruding down from the ceiling right next to the A/C unit. At the time I was in room #29. Also I was the only guest in the hotel. I moved to room # 26. Most of the rooms have broken tiles on the floor. The bathroom sink cabinets are worn and the faucets are loose. The electrical outlet behind the bed was broken in half. All the rooms have a mini fridge, HD TV and A/C.
