I really enjoyed my stay at The Stratford! They were very accommodating in allowing me to check in early and very attentive in making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. 10/10 would recommend!

The elevator needs to be worked on, otherwise everything was perfect !

The location is excellent. You can be at the cable car, BART, or Muni in under a minute. For it being in the center of everything, the hotel seemed pretty quiet. My room was small, but I could tell that it seemed recently renovated. Totally suitable for a single traveler. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is nice and clean, with that being said, the amenities are non-existent. Called front desk to ask for something for my room, never got an answer.
House keeping arrives at 8 "they" make the coffee, don't expect anything before then. I stayed for 3 nights.
Firsts morning went down to get coffee around 6;45, coffee was luke warm, I was not gonna complain about warm coffee but thought it was odd that coffee was warm so early in the morning (now I realize it was
From the night before) and no creamer, asked front desk if I could get some creamer, front said wouldn't be ready until after 8. Okaaayy?
Second morning went down 8:10-no coffee said it be about 10 mins. Okay sat down waited for another 15 house keeping girl rushing in with a grocery bag, full of oranges (only fruit they offer) and a big carton of creamer. Left, came back with a cart of coffee, and began refilling stir sticks, and coffee station necessities. Okay we're good
Third and final morning came down 8:10, no coffee, front desk said be ready at 8:45?? Irritated I went across the street to Starbucks, came back 10 mins later 8:20 Coffee was there, so frustrating!
How hard is it for front desk to make coffee? Even old hotels know to have coffee station available. 3ipads for self-checking. They do nothing!
Also, No parking, payed almost $150 ($45) per day to park in parking garage. Stayed 3 nights, would never stay again!! Don’t let pictures fool you!

I should have looked more into the hotel but there is NO AC in the building and rooms. The rooms are literal shoe boxes.

Great choice! We flew in from Oakland, and caught BART from the airport to San Francisco. The hotel was walking distance from the Powell St BART station, and to the trolly. The location was excellent, as we were able to walk to several eateries, and were only 1 block from the hop-on-hop-off bus stop. If you don't mind walking, China town and little Italy aren't far away.
The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel was wuite peaceful. The staff was kind and very accommodating. We were able to communicate all concerns via text, with an immediate response. Based on the location, price, convenience and quality of thebroom, I would Highly recommend The Stratford Hotel, and would definitely stay again!
