Not the most glamorous hotel but for what it’s worth it gets the job done. Don’t expect the rooms to have lots of room, it did feel a bit cramped but it works for 2 people at most. Not the cleanest in terms of the bathroom soap dispensers or some of the bed sheets but still pretty negligible for the price. It’s in a nice area easy to walk to cafes, parks, japantown and more; I found myself not even using Ubers too often since everything was accessible by bus and rental bikes too. Be warned, there is no elevator so you have to haul your luggage upstairs. Staff in my experience was serviceable and friendly in helping me.

exactly what you need for a few day trip in a convenient area. it's what you expect out of an inner-city hotel that isn't a huge chain, but honestly gives you what you need (minus breakfast but oh well). rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable and have a fridge and microwave. i spent a bit extra for a private bathroom which is best in my opinion. staff were super helpful and welcoming, even giving me an earlier check-in.

Loved my stay at this hotel! A tiny room nestled in a beautiful part of SF at an extremely affordable price. It's no Marriott, but it's lovely if you don't mind small spaces. I've had a love/hate relationship with SF but the location of this hotel made me fall in love with it again <3.
Only downside was that the room's toilet was broken during our stay, the chain was a bit jank. It only really failed our last day there so it wasn't too bad. Aside from that, the bathroom was really nice! You can tell it was recently renovated!
Anywho, if you're going to SF on a budget I can't recommend this place enough!
