The treatment by the staff was excellent, the central location allowed us to arrive on time to our next destination.

Clean, modern, and new hotel conveniently located in Point Loma. Great coffee shop across the street but the area doesn't seem entirely walkable. Parking is very limited as street parking is only option other than valet. I had a billing hiccup that Sandra handled for me very efficiently, so their customer service is great! I will be booking here again my next stay in San Diego.

Nice, newer hotel. Very clean. Rooms were on the small side and our biggest complaint would be the bathroom situation. There is no privacy, no lock, see through doors and the bathroom fan didn’t work. Parking is also a problem. No onsite parking except for valet, which is pricey and its just luck if you can find parking on the street close enough to the hotel.

Nice hotel just by the harbor. Walking distance to nearby restaurants and stores. Clean and friendly staff. No self parking and valet parking with cost before a downside. Can get noisy being on a main road.

Decided to stay in SD for the weekend with my best friend and I was very happy we chose to stay here. Parking rates are only valet. $37 a day with in and out privileges; process of calling the car through text was super convenient and easy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Our room had great views of the harbor and lots of space. The hotel has very nice designs and the theme carried through from the lobby to rooms. I definitely recommend staying here.

The Monsaraz was overall great. Front desk staff Jose was very helpful and pleasant as well as the valet. The room was cozy, clean, definitely what the photos show. Restroom door doesn’t seal shut, they’re a sliding door shutter type, so be ready for that. Still a beautiful modern restroom though. Parking was my only real complaint, $37 for overnight is kind of a lot. Street parking is available for free to self park, but it’s a first come first serve type. Amazing coffee shop across the street. Marina is walking distance. Definitely would stay here again, highly recommend for couples.
