The property is close to old-town central transportation and to old-town shops and restaurants. And a short drive to the beach and other San Diego tourist attractions. But to walk over there you have to pass through a very sketchy area.
The hotel in general feels dirty and the rooms have a heavy smoke smell. The pool is under repair. What a bummer especially when I was there with kids.

Was not what I expected but I guess you get what you pay for. I’m pretty sure people live there on a regular basis. I don’t think I would stay there again.

This place is unsafe, rooms smell like smoke, hooker and drug central. Bathroom window did not lock and partially broken. I have nevere seen a location like this. Walked into the room and walked out. The sad thing is that they did not refunded our money. It's ok my safety is first.

This place not clean , next to Train tracks the 1 night that I and family stay at midnight I fight broke up this hotel is visited by Homeless people screenings, fights, police shows up no arrest or stop problem. As I mentioned in the other reservation EXPIDIA really need to put a HIGH STANDARS any Hotel advertise in your website and you do not inspect this places wow

Sometimes you get great deal on the supplies they don't have Wi-Fi you have to pay for the Wi-Fi they have no iron to iron your clothes you got to go downstairs they don't have no HBO or anything just a regular TV very close to the trolley as a transportation can far away from grocery stores and mostly when you get to your room it smell like weed not cigarettes weed Beyond everything else is really cool to stay in

The property is noisy, the train runs close by, and you have the freeway literally running on top of you. The place has seen better days, it is not well kept, we request non smoking rooms which by the way were more expensive than the regular smoking rooms. The rooms assigned had a stench of tabaco. The rooms had been cleaned but still looks dirty, and the beds were so uncomfortable; it was nice to have a mini fridge in the room, too bad it was only one microwave and was not in the room but in a common area.
There is parking in the property, staff is nice and attentive.
