After checking-in I requested to switch rooms. The front desk was very accommodating in that request but in my haste I left my $400 headphones in the original room. I realized my mistake just 30 minutes later but when I alerted the front desk they had already re-assigned the room to someone else. The hotel manager said she would follow up the next day but after (3) three additional visits to the front desk the following morning I was sadly informed that the hotel guests had checked out taking my headphones and the Double Tree front desk Manager Gabrielle never even spoke to them once about my headphones. She instead had housekeeping finally sweep the room after they left with me standing there knowing what the outcome would be. Furthermore, as of right now, it is roughly 36 hours later and I have yet to be contacted by a Hilton resolution specialist in regards to the matter. My claim No. 161842264 remains open and unresolved.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past. The most recent time was about 10-12 years ago. Both times were very pleasant. So I was expecting the same level of experience with this visit. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. We booked a junior suite, for some reason I thought that would be a room with some sort of partition or something like that. No, it was just a larger room. The first room that we were given felt weird and dingy. Then just went to the bathroom and realized that the toilet was leaking. When I called to ask for help with the situation, a handyman was sent up. When he came in he wasn't friendly at all. It was as if we were bothering him. He said he was just going to caulk the toilet and hope it didn't leak again. As it was already late in the day, I didn't want to risk getting settled with my kids then having to move it or leaked later in the night. So I went to the front desk and asked to just be moved to another room. The lady at the front desk wasn't apologetic or kind about it at all. But she did move us when we asked. Over all the hotel was just run down and kind of gross. They are currently under construction so hopefully these kinks will be worked out. But as of right now, I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here at all.

Nice place for an older hotel. There were a couple small things that could use attention but over a great place.

It’s a very nice hotel. Very clean and the staff was great. One downfall is only one working elevator so the wait time is very long

No microwave in room. Made our room up 3 days but not our last day.

Overall, it was fine. One elevator was out of order causing delays Also I didn’t find the coffee maker till the second day. There was no shower cap provided which was not convenient. But overall the location is good and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable

Only 1 elevator was not good . But except this issue, our stay was very fine.
