I've stayed at this property before and never had an issue. But this time, my entry code did not work; and had to communicate via the chat function which was terrible. Had to call customer service which was helpful but entry to unit was less than great. Finally, the basement apartment was not like the images shown during the reservation. Bedroom was next to entire building's service area which made it super noisy. Not the best. For the cost and for it being a Sonder, it could have been better. Never again.

I stay at Sonder often (Houston) and was disappointed by this location. The front door was open to the public and so was the elevator. There were code boxes but they were both inactive. The response by Sonder was not acceptable as they advised me that my apartment door had a code/lock and I shouldn’t worry. I did worry about someone walking in off the street and onto the elevator. The apartment itself was nice and clean but when using the shower, the water leaked through the wall into the bedroom. They did offer another unit but it was smaller so I had to move to an alternate location down the street. After traveling all day, moving in the middle of the night was not ideal.

I liked the property as a whole. However, the bathroom next to the master bedroom had some issues. First, hair was left over on the floor and shower. The sink was clogged and would fill up. Also, the shower door didn't close completely so there was water all over the floor and toilet after I showered, and the bath floor tile is also all scuffed up. At first, I thought it was dirt, but after I called about the hair and they came in to clean, I could see that those scuff marks were permanent. The extra toilet paper was tricky to find. It was located under the kitchen sink. Also the walls are super thin. I was awakened by the next door neighbor's alarm clock twice. But other than the master bath, the place was great. The bed was comfy too. I will most likely come back.

it was close to everything. I would recommend it for anyone seeking a hassle-free and comfortable stay.

Perfect location, great unit, loud street noise
Posted 17 Dec 2023 on HotelsThis is a fantastic location & a great unit. It’s exactly as the photos indicate. It’s simple, modern, clean. Perfect for 2 couples. The only draw back is the noise. The unit faces a busy street & it’s quite loud at night. The bedrooms had sound machines, but we still found it loud.
