We were very disappointed with Ataraxy, we could not make it to our trip, my wife was hospitalize suddenly we notify Expidia and the hotel and Expidia was very nice to try to get a credit for us but Ataraxy will not accepted. we had other hotels booked and with the same situation they were understanding and gave us credit. We still are planning our trip but will not stay at Ataraxy. We felt no compassion or sympathy together unseen circumstances. We appreciate Expidia who did a great job with cancel all our bookings. Thanks

Nice staff always willing to help. Small room but clean, beds a little old, wifi does not work in rooms.

Staff ver nice. Room adequate. We had a problem with water leaking into the bathroom from somewhere, so we had water on the floor all the time. The air conditioner couldn’t dry up the humidity in the room. The staff kept coming in to shut the ac off, when we left the room. No hot water for showers. Reason given was, because of Covid. Very good location, middle of downtown. Lots of restaurants and a very short distance to the beach. No buffet breakfast, as advertised! Not bad for the money we paid.

Muy bonito el hotel y bien ubicado. Además salvo el chico de recepción de la mañana que no ayuda en nada todos la gente es muy amable

In short: I do not recommend it. Why? Well, in essence I have the following comments regarding the hotel: 1. The service is actually very good. Quite above average, and that needs to be emphasized. In relation to the attention of the hotel staff and their hospitality I have no complaints. 2. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and common areas is not the best. Moisture stains, smell of paint in the rooms, washbasin, etc.. The restaurant also does not have the best possible cleanliness, the chairs are dirty, the tables are dirty and the floor with clear signs of not having been properly cleaned, dirty windows all the time and everywhere .... 3. The air conditioner leaks water inside the room, which makes the humidity issue even more serious. In short, the hotel has the potential to be good if they improve the cleanliness and maintenance in general, but as it is now, it is not the best option for the price they ask. I would like to highlight, however, the excellent attention we received from the staff.

Gracias por comentar, efectivamente hablado con nuestros colaboradores recordamos su estadía, Y fue el día que había amenaza de Tormenta, razón por la cual, los desayunos se daban directamente en las habitaciones para que los huéspedes se resguardaran y que estuvieran seguros, y ustedes decidieron salir y estarse en el restaurante que no estaba en servicio ya que como tiene zonas exteriores es de alto riesgo bajo tormenta. ese día se dificulto la limpieza de la zona y del personal aseando, por que las brisas eran constantes y obviamente estarían sucias por el mismo ambiente abierto.
