Very quite location and walkable from the Salzburg station. There are also buses which which stops right opposite to the property. The check-in was smooth and lady at the front desk was very friendly and explained the city and made very useful recommendations for places to visit. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Unfortunately there was a power outage in our room, but it was resolved very quickly even though it was a Sunday evening. Overall it was a great choice to stay and I would highly recommend this place.

The Villa Elisa is an ok property. Inwoild probably give it 3.5 stars but no option so I gave it 4 stars The room we had was the family suite with two rooms. The property is definitely dated as are the rooms, and the beds were ok. Only 15 minute walk to Salzburg city center and old Salzburg. There are only a few parking spots so I’m very glad we made arrangements to have a parking spot for our car. We didn’t do the breakfast as there is a bakery close by and we only ever saw one person working at the hotel so not sure when they would even have a breakfast.

Dear Paul,Thank you for your review. You are correct, Villa Elisa is certainly dated, as it is an Art Nouveau building from the turn of the century. The entire Villa was completely renovated in 2020 and fully modernised. Usually our guest prefer the charismatic ambience mixed with modern amenities towards a generic hotel room in a soulless glass tower.For future guests: The breakfast buffet (together with our personel working there) with a large variety of local and organic food and a large variety of Austrian coffee specialities and other hot beverages can be found in the breakfast room (and the terrace in summer) on ground floor between 08:00 - 10:30.

sweet Salzburg spot
Posted 2 Jun 2023 on HotelsVilla Elisa was the perfect fit for our family of five. The front desk staff had wonderful reconditions for our stay in Salzburg and the breakfast was filling and delicious. Kiddos loved the bunk bed and couch. Mom and dad loved the kitchette and sitting area.
