This hotel is old. The staff did not speak any english so we had to translate everything. The room had no view and that was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. The food was not great. They did not accommodate a request to change rooms. The room had a smell to it that we had to endure during the stay. I do not recommend this hotel if you want to have a great experience in Salvador.

We stayed for the ocean view. The property is older, but the location, beach, pool, and the restaurant were wonderful and the staff very helpful and courteous.

Loved the breakfast and the hospitable staff. The location was perfect to access Carnival. Lots of security and felt safe. If you're a light sleeper, you'll hear Carnival music in your room until 6am daily. Lol.
