A nice and spacious room. Older facility but well kept. The front desk lady was not at all helpful when we asked for nearest gas station, but we found one ourselves after getting out. There was a bad ‘wet and sour’ smell in the room but we discovered a wet place on the carpet in front of the bathroom which was probably the problem. After soaking it up with a towel, and running a diffuser, it was fine.

It’s a good spot but very loud compared to other options in the area. Bed was comfortable but the pillows are horrific. It was like sleeping on a bag of potatoes.

The desk agent was rude. He also falsely told us he couldnt find our modified booking then surprisingly. The next morning he had it. We had reservations for the next night and he locked us out with my things still in the room. He said he called expecia and i wpuld get my money refunded. Atthst point i didnt believe anything so I cslled expedia. They had not heRd from him and there was no cancelation on record and no refund in place. Expedia fixed it.

We stayed one night and enjoyed it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we looked out our window we were treated to a cool view, birds eating from a birdfeeder hanging in the tree close to our room. Well played Microtel!!! We will book here first next time we're in SLC.

The only thing's i had an issue with was no cell phone charging at bed side, like the room i stay in previously (march 8th 2024) and i rang the front deck asked for a 6am wake up the that did not come until just before 7am !! Thankfully my daughter called at 6am so yeah thats it i really like Microtel will use this each time i visit Utah .

My family and I came from a three-day tour of Yellowstone Park, we are three adults, we stayed at the Wyndham hotel in Yellowstone West and we had an excellent experience there. and to return to our home we have to drive almost 18 hours. We decided to spend the night in this place, thinking that we were going to have a good experience like in the other place, and have a place to rest and sleep peacefully. And it was not so. They gave us a room that is on the first floor. near the dining room, the other tenants very scandalous.The room clean, everything in order.
