A quirky place to stay. The railway carriages were different. Clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Made our stay something unusual to talk about. Great location as it’s near to Stonehenge.

Posted 10 Feb 2024 on HotelsWe loved it! If I didn’t put all five stars it’s because a few things need tweaking (no coat hangers, no dish soap, wonky heater). But these are details: the substance was that my children, my partner and I stayed in a fun, great shepherds hut. In an in that offered a varied menu and that had in the garden a fun bus: an old bus that the kids loved. All this at the minimal possible distance from Stonehenge. And the sun was even shining! What more!

We stayed in the wishing well sheppards hut a fantastic experience. Nice and cosy when it was minus 4 outside. Staff amazing and friendly in the Inn and the food in the pub was lovely and fantastic prices. We were well looked after our only recommendation would be a couple of stalls to be able to sit down when wanting to relax. Would definitely visit again
