Good location, right near everything. Some areas of the hotel are a little run down but overall good for the money.

Very convenient for visiting the city and area with a useful car park. The room was perfectly good with everything I could want. The courtyard is a beautiful area for afternoon tea or evening drinks but unfortunately during my visit the weather had been terrible 😞 The breakfast menu was good but I just helped myself to cereal and yoghurt- there were plenty of pastries!

Disappointing for a 4 star hotel
Posted 29 Jan 2024 on HotelsThe decor is looking very tired; carpets are threadbare in places, some of the furnishings in our room where faulty; coat hook loose, heated towel rail not working. The carparking is particularly annoying; you are charged at check-in but the carpark did not have any free spaces as the workmen building the houses adjacent to the hotel were taking up multiple spaces. Reception staff were not the friendliest, we just seemed to be an annoyance to them when checking in!

Initially not easy to find but once there check in was simple, the staff lovely and so friendly, the room was lovely, very large and spotlessly clean with everything we needed.
We used the restaurant for our evening meal and while the menu was quite limited there was something each of us liked and the food was very nice and well cooked.
Overall we would highly recommend a stay here and would stay again if visiting Salisbury
