Nice owner, nice staff, nicely updated room. They did everything right for me. Fresh and clean. Good to be close to a cross walk to go downtown also. Will stay there again.

This is a nice place to stay. It is right on the main highway through Salida, so everything is close by. The room was clean and quiet, and it has been remodeled with a nice retro style. The breakfast is very good - better than most in this price range. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good all around.

The SR Lodge is an older motel that has been renovated and refurbished. We loved our room; modern, nicely appointed and furnished and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and had a terrific unique bedhead. Bedside tables, a chest of drawers, a small but serviceable kitchen area, office desk & chair plus a 2nd chair in the room as well. It is very unusual to have a full sized fridge and freezer in a motel, which we really appreciate when we are travelling for lengthy periods. A small but adequate bathroom. Outstanding accommodation for a very reasonable price. The Mexican restaurant just a short walk from the motel was terrific. Lovely views of the snow-capped mountains. Friendly welcoming on arrival. Highly recommend.

Our suite was very nice and had a nice backdrop view.
Staff was super friendly. Wish there was longer time on the hot tub time slots.

Dee,Thanx for your High 5. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Most professionals in the medical field recommend one spend no more than 15 to 20 minutes in a hot tub with the max being 30 minutes. We went with 30 min. as a safety precaution for our guests.Have a great day
