full of gallery visitors - it was obvious - great breakfast facilities - comfy bed warm shower - all one needs for a comfy night so near where we were headed - plus very short car trips to the swing bridge . and the botanic garden lakes showed up so much more of the town , And our meal at the criterion was delicious - thanks for the advice !!

Staff were great. Amenities and laundry was all handy. Small things like biscuits in the room and good coffee. Great location. Overall 10/10

Great location and reasonable price
Posted 22 Feb 2024 on HotelsThis was my 2nd stay at The Matador. Great location. Overall it was great, but I found the room that I stayed in to be a bit dark and the air conditioner was very noisy. Cleanliness of the room was excellent.The staff were all pleasant. The choices for the breakfast that was included were ample.
