Lovely stay at the South Sands. Room was comfortable with a huge walk in shower and separate roll top bath. Included breakfast was great and dinner was also very good. Perfect setting on the beach. Had a great free car park. Only fault was sound proofing of the room. Was quite noisy, especially when trying to go to sleep. Luckily we always pack ear plugs so didn’t affect us for long. I had read previous reviews about the roads leading to the hotel but nothing could have prepared me from the nail biting experience when you had to go anywhere!

Sea views, clean, comfortable and quiet. The seafood restaurant is excellent, every meal looks colourful and fresh.The staff are always ready to help, excellent service all round. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return many times.

Lovely staff, couldn’t have been more helpful. Food very good. Just thought room needed a bit of tiding/painting, bathrooms needed re grouting etc. it didn’t affect our stay, but is top money and except it to be right. We stayed in a sea view room with doors to open but no window to let any air in. So it was the door open which not sure on security of that. And there was no air-conditioning. All in all a lovely place.

This hotel offers warmth and personality. The customer service is perfect both for humans and dogs. The sea views from the room is fantastic, you can hear the waves as you fall asleep. Third visit.
