The hotel was absolutely stacked with character, and the lady who greeted us on arrival was an ambassador for customer service. The breakfast buffet was extremely fresh and French.
We will definitely be visiting again.

The Hotel is excellent, stayed in a single room and its the largest single bed I've ever seen and was exceptionally comfortable. I forgot to notify reception in advance that I was travelling by bicycle but they were really accommodating and have bike storage facilities. The gardens are beautiful, breakfast was lovely and I kind of wish I'd been there for more than 1 night.

high quality at a price
Posted 9 Sep 2020 on Hotelsthe room was well appointed but no hot water in the morning after running the tap for some time.
The meal was fine but the vegetables were just a token which is often the case in somewhat pretentious restaurants. The wine glass size was 10 cl instead of 12.5 cl which is a bit of a cheat although the actual size is down to the guess of the waiter.
The prices are a little on the high side so not value for money.
