Posted 27 Sep 2023 on HotelsA pleasant hotel with very helpful, friendly staff. It is about a couple of Km walk into the centre of Chalon sur S to find a range of restaurants, which is a good thing after driving all day.

Very clean and budget wise place!

Perfect hotel for a night

The area is not that beautiful but it’s very close to Lyon (one hour) and Dijon.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable, the bathroom had hot water and the room was heated.
The staff was very friendly. You can ask for breakfast and it’s very good! It costs €7 per person and you have many different things such as bread, toast, cheese, croissant and pain au chocolat and a varieties of jams.
Close by there is a super nice restaurant that the staff recommended us, the Auberge something. It’s 20 minutes walking.
