Unspoilt gem
Posted 28 Jul 2019 on HotelsWhat a fantastic hidden gem. We were moved to this Chateau when we were unable to access our reserved accommodation and this was our reward. Stunning Chateau in unspoilt countryside with a fabulous host in Eric. Never been to this part of France before and we’re using this as a stop off on our trip to south Spain, but would love to visit again

Interesting!
Posted 20 May 2019 on HotelsJust a little bit quirky, this place is out of the ordinary with its medieval decor and its super friendly host, Eric. We'll try to get back there in summer when we enjoy its facilities far more. Well, well worth a visit!

Quirky and interesting
Posted 25 Apr 2019 on HotelsThis is an interesting little Chambre d’hote in a small village. The proprietor is very friendly and welcoming. We ate the evening meal, plentiful local food. The rooms are very quirky, we had a suit of armour in ours, but clean. Be sure to visit the nearby village of Usson with the ruined castle of La Reine Margot and amazing columnar basalt outcrops.

Really pretty hotel in rural setting

Nice stay near Issoire, France

La salle de bain n'avait pas de porte dans la chambre, la chambre était trop petite et inconfortable. Le petit déjeuner était très basique (croissant, café, jus de fruits et petites crêpes). Le prix était trop cher pour ce qui est proposé.
