We arrived late and the automated entry didn't work because we hadn't paid the tourism tax. Ibis across the way was very helpful -- much nicer place. Would recommend them instead, even if more expensive as place was better managed, cleaner and more inviting. This place was creepy, dirty with poor functioning showers and limited outlets.... the list could go on. Not going back.

Room was small but the bathroom was decent. Difficult to get a taxi. Matilda is very accommodating and helpful.

The first room we were given became full of flies and moths, we are not sure where they came from as the window was shut. We complained to the Ibis (they own it) as the receptionist for our hotel had gone and they moved us to a different room. However, this room had squashed flies on the roller blind and a toenail cutting on the floor. Disgusting, we will be complaining further. The showers and toilets are separate to your room, toilets were clean enough but showers were again filthy. The rooms are boiling hot, no air con and only one plug socket for the whole room. We would not stay again.

It was a terrible experience, and I will not make a reservation again in this hotel, even if a free opportunity will be given. I can write many things, but three is enough. When we open the door's room, we see that it was not cleaned and prepared. So, the room was very messy. Then, we request another room. Even though it was prepared, there was a lot of hair in the sheets and bed linen. It was not cleaned properly. So, we received new ones and changed them by ourselves. It was also really interesting to see that there was no hairdryer. The only good thing was the guy in the reception. He was trying to help us. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Overnight at Avranches

Outside of building could do with a spruce up but tge inside was clean and fresh. Staff member was very nice and helpful. Situated close to ibis for an evening meal and also within walking distance to a supermarket and other shopping outlets.
