Beautiful location with lots of great hikes nearby
Posted 20 Jun 2022 on HotelsLoved loved loved it. It was maybe one of the most unique hotels I've ever stayed at. It was quaint, cozy, and in a small town not too hard to drive to. The dinner and breakfast was fabulous, and everyone there was able to provide us with great recommendations regarding where to hike and kayak. I would just make sure that when you're there you're serving dinner - the day we left they were forgoing dinner service (because there weren't enough people staying) and you had to drive out to grab food. They also don't do lunch, so be sure to ask them to pack a picnic the day before, or find somewhere good nearby! Even though my partner and I were the youngest people there by a lot (we're in our mid-20s), we still felt very welcome.

We are glad to hear that you liked your stay at our hotel. For information,there is only once a week no dinner on Thursdays. And we cook also for one person alone so it was not that there was not enough people but the day the restaurant is closed. And for lunch, we propose picknick bakets, if you like. We hope to see you again in the lovely Verdon.

Relaxing hotel, location is remote
Posted 17 Aug 2017If you are headed to Gorges du Verdon and don't need to stay close to the recreation area this is a very relaxing small bed and breakfast type inn. Nice room and grounds but far from other activities. The St. Croix lac isn't too far away though
