The Facility is clean all the way around. The front desk staff was friendly, courteous and helpful with local questions. Everyone I spoke with spoke English so that was very helpful. The area is right across the train station and easy public transportation access but at the same time causes a lot of outside noise. I personally don’t mind since I’m from a big city but overall I would stay here again.

I loved this hotel - it's old school and sparkling clean. I didn't try the breakfast as I had a very early train. The only slight down side is that the check-in took quite a long time - the staff use an iPad to collect lots of personal information.

Super friendly check in staff. Made to feel very welcome and greeted by my name which was impressive! Lovely big room, fantastic bathroom. Right opposite station so great for getting a bite to eat. Loved Hamburg! Quirks of hotel: corridors are a bit of a maze and it’s easy to get lost, but that’s the only negative and I would stay here again for sure!

I stayed here a night to catch a very early train in the morning. It was very convenient. (Also a favourite restaurant about 800 metres down the street.) Reception staff were very good. Room was also very good.
