Quiet central location
Posted 27 Sep 2023 on HotelsWhilst being in centre of St Etienne, the hotel was very quiet for Friday and Saturday nights. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Rooms are compact but for the few days we were there OK for us. Reception staff all very helpful

Beware
Posted 20 Sep 2023 on HotelsIt was not was was advertised. It looked and felt like a prison cell. No air conditioning. The picture they use in advertising the hotel looks very pleasant and is not indicative of what it is insitue.

The people at reception were helpful. The hotel is
right in the town center, a beautiful town square with lots of cafes and restaurants. The one thing that concerned me was no smoke alarms and the room did didn't lock and they only give you one key. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

The location is good, and the room is clean. But the Wi-Fi wasn't easy to connect, and you should pay attention to the opening time of the reception.

Basic hotel with excellent breakfast

Pro:
- Excellent location - smack in the middle of the center of town.
- Very nice breakfast
- Kitchenette (which we did not use)
Con:
- 45 Euro charge for using the Kitchenette seems unreasonable

Excellent location for the price! The room and the bathroom were pretty big, environmentally conscious ( light sensor in a corridor, soap and shampoo are in dispensers). The room had a small kitchenette, which one must leave clean. The only issue was a noise on the street ( young people socializing) after midnight on one night, so the window couldn’t be kept open ( no AC). Only one out of 3 help desk employers spoke English, which is okay when there are no issues, but could be tricky when there are.

Lots of work need to be done regarding cleaning service, the floor of the room probably has never been cleaned since opening of the hotel
