great hotel in ambialet
Posted 24 Sep 2018 on Hotelsvery welcoming staff. beautiful place to have dinner, watching the full moon rising next to the old church up on the hill. bed comfortable; room a little small. nice bathroom. we would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Awesome location. Good restaurant. The only small problem was that bed was not that comfortable. Otherwise I would give 5 stars

Charming place right on the Tarn River
Posted 23 Oct 2017The hotel staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The food in the restaurant was some of the best we had in France. The area has some spectacular scenery and great hiking. I would definitely love to return.

Wonderful location, rooms and food
Posted 29 Apr 2015 on HotelsThis is a gem of a family owned and run place perched atop a river. Lovely surroundings with great hiking and very nice rooms. A superb Chef in the restaurant, with beautifully prepared and presented food .. with some family recipes passed down for generations. We look forward to our next visit.

A good stopover
Posted 25 Jul 2011Stayed just the one night. Not much going on in sleepy Ambialet, but the area's very good for walking and very peaceful.
Nice hotel location overlooking the bridge, good grounds and outdoor pool. Lovely room with great outlook, but the shower/toilet room was small.
Ate in the hotels nice restaurant, and well presented and good service, but maybe the Menu was a mistake for us, and we should have gone a la carte instead. Good wine list.
Best of all, a splendid buffet breakfast, and good attention given to it.
No regrets at having chosen this hotel.

Posted 21 Aug 2018 on HotelsUn spot calme et plein de charme loin de la ville. Idéal pour se reposer. La proximité de la rivière et la piscine sont des atouts. La cuisine proposée par le restaurant de lhotel est authentique et très savoureuse.
