I booked this for my wife and her mom. For the price they had terrible experience. Room was not at all as pictures. Old and run down, hard bad, hard pillows, broken door of the bathroom, toilet flush didn't work. Buffet breakfast didn't have many choices and was poorly organized as far as silverware and placement. Overall, for $70+ a night you can get much better hotel.

Dear guest, We’re very surprised to see this review from you on Expedia as you just told us before your departure that you had a great stay and loved the meals here. We have always been grateful to every comments from our guests as it is the best platform for us to keep improving our property and service. However, we need to clarify about some untrue information. Our rooms are exactly the same as it’s posted on website and OTA. We regularly update our pictures on every channels and we did just have a big renovation during the COVID-19 lockdown period. We checked the bathroom door and toilet flush right after reading your review and it works absolutely fine without any issues and we would be more than ready to assist our guests if there’s any issue during their stay. However, you never mentioned those problems at all during your stay. The real problem might be the breakfast buffet as we had more than 170+ guests over the long weekend and there were some delays to fill up some types of food. We do apologize about the breakfast buffet and we will keep improving our breakfast line and have a better schedule to organize it more effectively. Thank you for your review. Very pleasant resort in a lovely setting. Rooms are adequate, bathrooms simple but work. Rooms could do with a chair in them also river rooms an additional chair would be nice. Very helpful and wonderful staff, thanks in particular to Khun Champ at reception and the restaurant team. Delicious Thai food thank you served in a lovely garden setting. Great value for money resort and to explore the sights nearby. Kap Khun Mah Krub

Fantastic and welcoming stay

Thanks to the great service given by staffs, we truly enjoyed our stay at Baanpufa Resort. Good location and nice big rooms. Only downside was that the wifi connection is poor.

La Verdad todo nos ha decepcionado, desde el estado de la habitación, vieja y sucia, al servicio de los trabajadores , bordes y sin respecto. Nada más llegar nos dicen que teníamos que pagar la estancia en efectivo y yo le pregunto porque no avisan el cliente, la respuesta es un silencio general , porque lamentablemente los trabajadores no entienden casi nada de ingles. La gente que ha votado 10 este sitio ha votado con los pies. Horrible .

However, we do have to clarify some of your statements toward our service. You checked in to the resort on Sunday 11th of August and checked out on Monday 12th of August. We stated clearly on the message that we only accept cash, QR code payment or bank payment. When you checked in, the staff had difficulty understand your English so they decided to call the manager to explain the situation. I did call you myself to explain and help you with the direction to the closest ATM machine which is only 5 minutes away from the resort. All the staff welcomed and treated you and your group with respect as we value our pride in service and the satisfaction of our guests.
