The property is beautiful, but needs major upgrading. the bathroom walls and ceiling was full of mold and hazardous for your health. They can bring more tourist if they cater to high-end tourist by up grading their facility.

Absolutely beautiful location with great walking access to the nearby National Park. Food is good and staff is great.
Views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing.

Beautiful and worth the long drive!
Posted 28 Feb 2024 on HotelsWe loved our stay at Altos de Cano Hondo. It is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We also loved the hotel guide Wilfred who took us on a great tour! The architecture of the hotel was wonderful, the food was basic but good and the scenery was beautiful. You should note that Altos Cano Hondo is the smaller sister hotel to the larger Paraiso Cano Hondo. They both share the same natural pools but you need to take a quick walk down from Altos to Paraiso to use the pools.
