Fatrapark 2 for summer leave

Awful experience

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Decor, lighting, breakfast, odor.
Location: Some distance away from anything. Not walkable to anything.
Room was austere, lit with overhead flouescents, and smelled strongly of pickles. Really....pickles! Breakfast (not complimentary) was disappointing. Impression was given that there were mountain views. Not. Entrance was muddy and parking lot some distance away.

Nice Value Apartment in Forest
Posted 14 May 2016 on HotelsThis is a good, clean, comfortable, inexpensive optionfor staying in quiet, forest setting. Nice apartmentwith balcony with view of farmed elk grazing. Everything you need to cook if you like, abd not too far off the highways.

Nice in summer, too.
Posted 7 Aug 2015 on HotelsThe room was spacious and had beds for lots of people. It also has hooks and places to store items, so it is good for the ski season. We went in the summer, and there were lots of fun things to do, such as ziplining, a ropes course, and zorbing on the small lake. The restaurant was also very nice.

Quiet refuge in the woods

Pros: The facility is modern and clean. The staff speak English and are friendly. The room on the sixth floor we had was spacious and we had a large balcony
Cons: Parking was a bit tight because that weekend there was a meeting of vintage car enthusiasts. Some noise can be expected. But generally it's quiet.
Location: We didn't explore the options too much because my mother is 85 and what we can do is limited, but there's a rope climbing course and HIKING!
We had a wonderful time! After driving long distances in Germany, Austria, and Hungary, we planned a few quiet days in Slovakia. Upon booking, I was skeptical at first when I saw the price of 39 euros per night but was pleasantly surprised. I would go back anytime. In fact, the whole region is very attractive, not only in the summer but also in winter for skiing.
