Small town treasure!

Outstanding breakfast !
Charming hosts who gave excellent advice on biking, dining, etc.

Posted 6 Sep 2022 on HotelsRussell and Jim are incredible! Their attention to detail is visible everywhere. Jim accommodated our vegan requests with great culinary skill. Our room was comfortable, and obviously extremely well maintained. We look forward to returning, as we felt as though we were visiting with family. We were there to enjoy the Earl Scruggs Music Festival and were delighted to see the lights on when we arrived home some nights after midnight!

Hospitality of owners was phenomenal! Breakfast was fresh and delicious. History of the home well documented and interesting. Beautiful outdoor gardens and comfortable front porch. No complaints!

The Carrier House is everything I could have wished for in a bed and breakfast: starting with a warm welcome from our 2 host and owners, followed be the enchanting landscaping as well as a charming 19th Century Inn. Our breakfast was memorable for the good company, the dishes presentation and of course the taste!
