Boys Bike Trip
Posted 7 Jun 2022 on HotelsRoom was not up to standard. Shower broken. My view was of a gravel area which was littered qith dog mess, obviously their dog as i was let out at 630am.
Resurant and bar shut, which was hugely disappointing as this was one of the msin reasons for choosing this hotel.
Have to say obe of the worst hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in.

Nice little hotel near the station and with parking very close by.
Short walk to the shoreline and not much further to the centre of Royan.

The stop here was just a lay over between driving. The room was fine for the night. Room needs dark curtains to stop the street light on a busy intersection. Bed small but comfortable. Shower/ wc very small. Location convenient. Breakfast not quite up to scratch. Food not replaced and probably should be described as a continental not Buffett and charged accordingly

Great value for money
Posted 9 Oct 2018 on HotelsThe two guys that manage the hotel were very helpful. There is free public parking outside the hotel which is only 200 meters from the stadium and railway station. The beach is less than 1km away. The hotel was great value for money.

Funky and Functional
Posted 21 Oct 2017 on HotelsThis funky hotel is ideally located next to the railway station (no noise) but still within 5 min walk of the beach and all amenities. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. Our room was probably the smallest (No.7) and we were given the opportunity to move after the first night unprompted which to be honest we regretted not doing. Whilst there was an extractor fan the steam from our shower created a dampness in the room which we could not get rid of as the window would not open. We were also a little concerned that the fire door at the top of the stairs as frequently left open.
The continental breakfast offered plenty of choice but for us was a little expensive given we don't generally eat a lot in the morning. (Unless we have the option of a hot buffet/full english!)

Great stay & super nice people!
Posted 27 Jun 2017Great little hotel and great staff!! We stayed there with a group of friends and every one was so helpful and patient with so many of us.
I was also there with my 20month old daughter and they were very accommodating to our needs.
Only negative thing I would say is that the bedrooms are tiny, and the bathroom as well. However I saw the room for 4 and it was super spacious. But really if you don't plan to stay in the hotel much like us, it's fine.
They have a couple of super well behaved dogs too.
