It was my very first time booking with Expedia and also visiting Finland . The transaction were smooth . I must say the breakfast at the hotel was amazing highly recommend the mushrooms and potatoes and pancakes . My friend and I came down 5min before breakfast hours ended and the chef had no issue whipping us up a hot meal , Clean comfortable room/ beds ; only thing I wished the room had a microwave as the portions at the nearby restaurants are pretty large and we would often retire with a takeaway box . Apart from that I highly recommend Arctic Light Hotel

Absolutely nothing we can fault about this property. The staff is what makes this hotel special.
Max at reception is exceptional and an asset to this business. He was a standout and genuinely wants to assist and provide anything you may require. Memorable stay.

Be sure to reserve the sauna!
Posted 1 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe arrived at the hotel on the bus directly from the train station and thought we'd be dropping our luggage and finding things to do until check-in time. Much to our surprise our room was ready and we were able to check in and get cleaned up before roaming around Rovaniemi and making it to our late lunch reservation in the town center. I sent the hotel a note a few days before arrival to reserve the sauna (we did not have one in our room) for both evenings and they were signed us up immediately. Highly recommend making sure you have a sauna experience the night before your departure, at least! We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night-excellent service and food, be sure to make reservations. The included hotel breakfast was excellent.
