Smelly, the sulphur pool and a unusual smell in the room

Firstly the associate who checked us in was courteous and professional. He was able to arrange for an early check in which we really appreciated.
However we could not over look the dirty room,outdoor areas and the pools. As we had chosen this hotel to experience the thermal pool, we just couldn't use it as it was not clean. I would like to caution other guests that the photos are not accurate and if you want to experience thermal pools you may want to consider going elsewhere. In closing the motel is in a great location and easy walking distance to restaurants and attractions in Rotorua.

Great to be able to use the hot pool and spa pool after a long drive/day out. Comfortable bed and air conditioning meant a good sleep.
