Excellent location just outside the Walled city but for a few Euros more would recommend the Hotel across the street. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Sparse choices that were not replenished. Soft boiled eggs, sliced cheese and cold cuts, bread rolls, jam, cereal and some desserts. It was our understanding that the Breakfast was half of what the grumpy old man insisted it was. It was certainly not worth it. Also upon departure, the lady insisted that the payment had not been made for the second room. I insisted that it had. Neither owner spoke any English. After 10 minutes of discussion she acknowledged that the payment had indeed been made.

Would definitely recommend. The host is an extremely hard worker at making his guests feel comfortable. Cleanliness was top-notch.

Very convenient location to explore Rothenburg
Posted 19 Jul 2023 on HotelsLoved the location right outside one of the main gates of Rothenburg. Great that parking was included, and we could leave the car there till after lunch on day of departure. The actual guesthouse felt authentic and was kept up well.
