Posted 7 Mar 2020 on HotelsWe spent 3 days at Ophelia Cottage and it was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here, surrounded by nature. The place is exactly as it appears in the pictures. Our host Ophelia was amazing! Thanks a lot! Highly recommended.

This place is pretty nice for what it is, which is a pretty basic set of cottages. We had a small, no-frills kitchen. Everything worked and was clean. the owners clearly care about the place -- it was recently painted and had new curtains. But if you're coming from the US, just remember that in the end you get what you pay for -- it's pretty basic. The people were very nice and helpful, and for what it is, I was happy overall.

Lovely stay
Posted 2 Jan 2019 on HotelsThe cottage was the perfect size for me and my sister. The walls are a bit thin so if you are a very light sleeper, bring headphones for the natural habitat surrounding the cottages (insects, birds, rain, etc.) gets noisy. The location is a bit remote if you are taking public transport, but if you have car, it is close to many of the sights. Ophelia and her husband were lovely and helped us get situated with a taxi to tour us around the island.

Great location, great service . Fresh air every day. Rains at nights.Owners are down to earth and easy to get along with.What a lovely crew. Nature at its best.

Great location, value, and people

The apartment was lovely: clean, spacious, cool, had good hot water, and was perched atop a hill overlooking the mountains and valley below. A short drive to downtown Roseau, and a great value for the price. Would highly recommend!

Cons: Increased counterspace would make it easier for food prep. A kitchen towel and/or drying rack would also be useful. New mattresses would be a nice.
Location: Hiking and hot springs are nearby and just 10 minutes outside of Roseau. A small grocery store is within walking distance (about a mile) for basics.
Ms. Ophelia is a warm hearted, kind, and funny person. We very much enjoyed her conversation. The apartment is clean and covers the basics. Nice to have some hot water! A quiet location to promote relaxing sleep.
