The hotel is undergoing a full refurbishment but even the older rooms are of a good standard. Friendly, helpful staff. Car parking is across the road at the station but the daily rate is acceptable. Handy for the rail station. 10 minutes walk into the centre of town. I will use this place again.

Posted 30 Nov 2023 on HotelsStaff at the hotel are brilliant and very friendly. The hotel itself needs some addressing. The heating is only controlled by radiators so difficult to get the room to a decent temperature. This was a big issue with a small baby and the first night we were freezing in the room. The bathroom whilst modern had no door between the bathroom, toilet and bedroom so no privacy using the bathroom or toilet. The shower only goes to warm temperatures and does not get very hot despite turning this to max heat.
The curtains were falling off the rails in the rooms.
On our last night there was loud music playing until 3am and then fighting and loud shouting and noise coming from the floor above. The hotel did not seem to do anything about this and it kept us awake and our small baby disturbed and distressed all night. The corridors in the hotel also smelt very fusty and smelly.
Unfortunately would not recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing comfortable break.

Poor service, Have to wait to be buzzed in day or night, left in rain waiting but reception not notice as on phone. No waiters for bar. very rare there is anyone on reception.

Posted 8 Oct 2022 on HotelsRoom was clean. Despite a room safe being advertised no safe was available. The breakfast at 15 Euro extra was deplorable ! (avoid the scrambled egg)
A complete rip-off and of very poor quality.
I booked a TWIN room but received a double. Tea/coffee provided but of poor quality. Vending machines at reception offered a poor choice.

Very disappointed to find that the restaurant in the hotel was closed. They have a sister hotel over the road and that is where the reception is as well as the restaurant.
As I was staying there on business I didn't want to waste time in the morning going outside the hotel for breakfast. The management made up a couple of basic breakfast packs for me but with stale bread in the sandwiches.
Pro - comfy bed and an Aircon that worked.
Con - nobody on reception in the building. No restaurant in the building.

my flight got cancelled and they didnt want to change my date so they stole my money

Posted 4 Oct 2019 on HotelsHotel Goderie is the perfect Hotel when visiting Roosendaal. Room was fantastic, food was great and the staff were extremely helpful. I will be back.
