The property isn't so much dirty as it is old. The building is probably close to 100 years old and it's been a while since it's been upgraded. Despite that, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is very close to the bus/train station as well as numerous sites. Plus it's really inexpensive.

It’s a good location in Rome, walking distance to local attractions and metro. That’s the only highlight. Property is dilapidated not the one in the pictures as described. The bathroom is questionably unsanitary. Lesson learned, when the price is cheap that is what you will get.

Walters guest house has a very convenient location, it’s very close to Roma Termi.
Overall, the place is disgusting and a huge disappointment. When we arrived, we called the owner and he is a huge scammer along with being extremely rude. He wanted to change my nasty room for an extra price, or according to him, “deal with it”.
Online, the place looks like a nice nesting spot, however when we arrived the condition of absolutely everything were horrible. In our stay, we encountered 2 cockroaches, horrible odors, and terrible bedding.
The towels were rough, and extremely old. They hurt to dry yourself, they even had holes in them. The shower had mold all over the place, and the rack was so old that it was oxidationing terribly.
The furniture is broken, scratched, dusted and stained.
The kitchen is horrible, it hasn’t been taken care of in ages. The fridge is okay, however it stained all over and it smells bad.
Daily breakfast as advertised is a lie. We didn’t get anything and nobody was there.
The tv in the rooms are ripped off the wall with worded hanging out, and the common room Tv is 14 inches probably from 1980.
Expedia was not able to help, because the owner didn’t want to give us a refund so we could relocate. This says a lot about the owners character and the fact he doesn’t care for his guests, but he’s in it for all the money he can make.
Simply terrible, do yourself a favor and pass this place off your list.

False and liar this person , despite of the night late arrival afterhours ,without any information before , this lady has been accommodate even late around 1.00 am , but she did not want to pay anything , no the bill , no the city municipal tax , no extra surcharge 10 euros for late arrival after the 22.00 check-in time possible for us.Despite the price very low and cheap , not enaugh to pay anything, this lady made even a mess in the middle of the night.Ligthmare

Posted 28 Nov 2020 on HotelsThe only good thing about Walter Guest House is the location, it’s really close to the metro station. When I arrived there they didn’t even know I scheduled a stay. The staff was nice though.
The room was ok, but it was really dirty. There were old soaps in the shower, which shows that they didn’t even clean after the previews guests left. There were bed bugs, I’m full of rashes. The lights didn’t work properly and there was no Wi-Fi.
Anyway, I recommend you to spend a little bit more in another place, or a shared Hostel.

Bad clients!!!Same same reason , orrible revange because they want to cancel without any penalty fee,despite They paid 1 double room with private bathroom only 15 euros per night net for us, when 1 room costs us 50 euros per day between rent, taxes, gas, electricity, water, A / C, employees, etc etc, because the internet system forces us to lower prices, miserable and poor, and despite all this I have to hear bad and bad comments, instead to be grateful for our offer

No TV reception.

Property is very well located in Ventral Rome.
Located near Rome Termini ( main train station)
Located near many historical sights

Air conditioner does not work. Thanks of fans that protect us against mosquitoes bites. There was not any space for breakfast in and out of room, dirty microwave and kitchen. just good point about this place is its location. Photos are related to the place but do not represent its condition exactly.

I thought very bad the first day because the room did not have the comfort of what was in the picture, the following day they exchanged for a better one., The location was very good.

With this incredible wickedness, They use the microscope to look for terrible arguments, despite the price so only 20 euros for a double do not really pay anything, we are forced from the big web sites to lower and lower price , really underpriced because 1 double cost us more than 50 euros per day, we can not pay the rent and all other Expenses, really amazing claiming a higher class hotel when we are only "bed and breakfast" in apartment and accommodation in a family, these people did not want to pay the supplement not included in the price on-line: municipal tax of 3.50 euros per person and night, even though we sent several e-mails for informations. I am sorry but we work on a limited budget because we are a cheap accommodation, the price is lower than in the center of Rome, we hope the cooperation of our customers, but they ask the luxury but we do not have enough incoming but the lowest price in the center of Rome, so I can not understand this bad comment, it's not fair for our commitment to welcome our customers despite the small price paid, including free services like Unlimited breakfast buffet, orange juice squeeze all day, A / C, free cleaning of the room, use of kitchen, WIFI etc. etc. Thank you
